Care & Maintenance of Your Writing Instruments
Please be aware of the difference between a ballpoint and a rollerball pen. Each has its good points. A ballpoint uses gel ink, and a rollerball uses liquid ink. Although gel ink cartridges will last longer, the rollerball results are much finer, as the ink flows similarly to a fountain pen. All PokerPens.com writing instruments are rollerballs.
Poker Royale:
The colored finish on each pen is applied by hand using the finest lacquers available. Although this pen is very durable, as with any fine lacquer item, it requires care to preserve its finish. Sharp, hard or rough objects such as keys, coins, etc. may scratch the pen. Dropping the pen on a hard surface may chip the finish or damage the components. Careful use, as described above will preserve your fine writing instrument for years to come.
Emerald Poker and Pearl Poker:
These pens are made from natural wood. As with any fine writing instrument made from wood, some care must be taken to maintain the beauty and the structural integrity of the pen.
Do not leave your pen in the car. Temperature extremes experienced in a car can damage or destroy your writing instrument. Treat it as if you would any fine, delicate instrument. Although it can withstand a lifetime of use, it will not tolerate abuse.
Do not use cleaning fluids or any abrasive substance (like car wax) on any part of your new writing instrument. The fluids and/or abrasives will damage the fine finish.
